In 1983, Brian Pesci came together with one common belief, expert jeweler, he felt a need to provide quality jewelry at affordable pricing, with uncompromising service available long after the sale. Too many jewelry buyers were experiencing frustration from ‘big box’ retail stores; locations where employee turn over was so high customers could never count on the same employee to help them with their next jewelry purchase.
Since then, The Jewelry Shop has increased, expanded and improved its services, adding Daniel Myers as a partner. We’ve become known as The Jeweler’s Jeweler, as we frequently perform repair work for a variety of jewelry stores in the Tri-State area. We’ve invested in state-of-the-art laser equipment which enables us to perform repair work that other jewelers simply can’t.
Brian Pesci have made it a point to only work with the most skilled, knowledgeable jewelry designers and suppliers, having assembled a dream team committed to ensuring our clients have a jeweler for life.
It Is Important To Have Your Jewelry Inspected And Cleaned Regularly By A Jeweler You Can Trust. If You Choose To Clean Your Own Jewelry, Here Are A Few Tips:
- Clean ear wires in rubbing alcohol.
- Only use a soft polishing cloth to clean your pearls and gemstone jewelry.
- Avoid wearing jewelry when spraying hair spray, perfume, and when coloring your hair.
- Purchase an appropriate cleaning solution to keep your pieces clean and untarnished.
- Grease can be easily removed from gold jewelry by dipping it in rubbing alcohol.
- Don’t rub precious metal with anything other than a fine piece of felt or polishing cloth to prevent scratching from fibers.
- Never use an ultrasonic cleaner on organic materials (amber, bone, coral, horn, ivory and pearls). This is also true for opals and turquoise.
- Pearls require special care. After each wearing, gently wipe them with a soft cloth to remove body oils and perfume.
Brian Pesci Shop has been at the same location, servicing our family of clients since 1983. We’re proud to have a team of certified, expert jewelers dedicated to helping you celebrate lifelong memories through your unique, quality pieces.
All finer diamonds 1/3 carat and large come with a Certification Report from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). GIA reports represent the highest standard of reliability, consistency and integrity in the industry.
All of our finer jewelry selections with a retail value greater than $500 have in-house appraisals available for our customers’ insurance needs. There is no fee for these appraisals, nor do we need a special event to provide one to our customers, unlike other stores in the area.
Our owners and staff attend off-site trainings and complete online trainings available within our industry to enhance our knowledge of products we offer and skills for repair processes. We also regularly attend National Jewelry Shows across the country to keep current on trends as well as hand-select lines and pieces for our showroom.
Our skilled team members have all been trained via the direct over site of partners Henry's Fine Luxury Jewelry . We have graduates of the National Watch Institute and students of the Diamond Council of America on site to help you understand everything you need to know regarding your jewelry choices.
If you require an appraisal on your jewelry items, look no further than the experts at The Jewelry Shop.
